The Bear is getting shape.

They really are

I got this idea for quit a while… Only in a different execution. I thought it was fun to have a clean, neat, white, classy book, with a nice cover with no printed text..only a die cutter line that says ‘comic stans’ (Stans is dutch for Die Cutter;) But I made it in this form with my mate Pieter during our lunch-break @ sintlucas. Not the best pictures but it was just for fun! (never mind the spacing in this one…it was hand cut very quickly;)

Here is a little Work In Progress. I like the rough style of the sketch. I’m not sure what I’m gonna do with this one, but keep checking for a update soon!

This one started out as a sketch of a hand (upside down) with all the veins clearly visible. I scanned it in and started playing with it in illustrator till this little thing came out. A mountain-hand-like thing. I like the fact that some people have to look twice to see the hand in the mountain. Not the best illustration but because of the little time I have right now I decided to post it and show it to you, cause I liked the idea behind it.

Here is another sketch with longfingers!

Ive been making lots and lots of these sketches of hands with surreal long fingers. I think I will be using them on shirts or something…but first a little sketch here…

Inspired on bloc party’s ’silent alarm’

I drew little sketches and scanned them in, edited them in photoshop and build this pyramid. I’m not pleased with the ‘dust’ or ’smoke’ layer, but I like the idea behind it. I think its something to work out more detailed in the future.

Another pencil sketch and some wacom experiments.
