My good friend and classmate Ruud Kool has won the Kees Caspers award, organized by Scheepens! He achieved this by competing against 9 fellow students from SintLucas and when he came out as the best he had to compeed against the winner from the Eindhovense school. And yes…he beat his opponent in the finale and won a great internship for three months in Barcelona, Spain at Atletico International. It’s a payed internship that also Will count as his exam. He is heading out to Spain tomorrow!… how fast things can go…(he heard it about a week ago) So wish him the best of luck and congratulations! Ruud Kool
Here are some random designs, explored some new typo styles and color-combo’s and played around with a skull. It can be used as stickers? Tee prints? logo’s? patches? etc.
Hi all, It’s been a while since my last post due to business at school. I’m in my graduation year, and after SintLucas… I’m planning to head out to England for a year! The University of Lincoln is my goal. It would be great to attend Creative Advertising there. I will keep you guys updated when I have some info about my test and residence and stuff. For now I have a thing I made a couple of days ago. I’m planning to keep some sort of journal if I’m going to England. So I made some sketches for a cover for that journal, and a poster along with it. I am not sure how I am gonna realize all this but I have enough time to figure that out;) It was fun playing around with this thing. I like the typo but I think it is a bit to much ‘American’ for a journal that is supposed to reflect England…so..I will see if I am actually gonna use this. But once again, It was just a lot of fun sketching. (the typo is fake)

Here is a idea that popped up in my head this morning. A fictional book-cover. I wanted it to be very graphic and as minimalistic as possible. I like the fact that the waves also are his hairline. Played around with the colors and typography till this came out. waterhoofd(kop) = hydrocephalus… you get it
Well, today leggozcreations.nl finaly is online! It’s a real basic, minimalistic site. The ‘work’ section is currenty linked to my blog. In the future I will make a small selection of projects that will appear under ‘work’ on the site. But for now it’s better than that splashpage!
Well, how am I gonna explain this one… It started in a Chinese wok to go restaurant with some friends when the name ‘noska’ was thrown into the conversation… and we never stopped using this non-existing name. When I had a conversation yesterday I decided it was time for a ‘tribute to noska’ poster, and 15 minutes later noska07 was born. It’s just a rough one, but here it is!
After watching some amazing photos taken by iso50 I decided to grab some old pictures I’ve made about three years ago (I believe these are one of my first pictures I’ve taken with my analogue camera) , and play around with them in Photoshop. Nowadays I nearly touch that camera. Since I prefer working with Illustrator, and Photoshop is definitely not my favorite programme, I’m pretty satisfied with the result for a first try… You should check out iso50’s site and watch how powerful and rich of color those pictures are.
